The Old George - High Bickington (01769 560513)

The pub is very local and only a 1 minute walk from the cottages). The pub serves food some lunch times and every evening, serving times are 12 -2 and 6.30 - 9.30 (9.00) on Sundays during the winter and 12 - 9 during the summer. It is necessary to book for Sunday lunch. The old George serves real Ales, changed regularly and great food, children welcome and credit card accepted.

Weirmarsh Farm Restaurant - Umberleigh (01769 560338)

This comes highly recommended but you will have to book a long time in advance! The restaurant is run by a family and is around a 4 minute drive from Rose Cottage . It is only open on Friday and Saturday evening and you will be sent a menu to choose from before the evening. The meal costs around £27 for 5 courses and wine and drinks are very reasonably priced.

Great Friendly Pub about a 5 minute drive from Millbrook. Offering quality home cooked meals. Highly recommended.
