We are Bob and Kate Boothby, we moved to Millbrook Cottages in March 2005 from North Somerset. We live and work at Millbrook Cottages, which is about a 10 minute walk from Rose Cottage.

Jo and Mandy are our housekeepers who are responsible for cleaning and managing change overs at Rose and Millbrook, Alan is our Handy Man, Dave looks after the log supply and George looks after the gardens!

Millbrook Cottages has won lots of awards and we have used our experience on several other luxury properties.

In 2007 we Purchased Mountains View - a wooden chalet in Austria, Perfect for Skiing Holidays and Summer Holidays in luxury!

In 2010 we purchased Little Owl, a tiny hideaway on Exmoor, perfect for a couple of days away!

After the success and of Millbrook, Mountains View and Little Owl we were happy as we were until one day we heard that Rose Cottage was for sale. Due to the location (in the centre of the village, near a great pub!) We had to go and have a look. We fell for Rose Cottage within seconds and knew it would be perfect to expand our cottages with and complement our other cottages.

We exchanged and completed on Rose Cottage in October 2011 and spent the winter painting, sanding, wall papering and buying ready to open Rose in March 2012. Rose Cottage is now welcoming guests for romantic breaks all year around.
